KLM Royal Dutch Airline

Founded in 1919, KLM is the oldest airline in the world still operating under its original name, which is short for Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij in Dutch or Royal Aviation Company in English. The airline is a member of the SkyTeam alliance and currently operates flights between its hub at Amsterdam's Schiphol airport to 8 gateways in the US; New York (JFK), Newark, Houston Intercontinental, Washington Dulles, Chicago O'Hare, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. KLM also offers trans-Atlantic codeshare service to Amsterdam in conjunction with Northwest Airlines out of Seattle, Minneapolis, Detroit, Memphis, and Boston. With seasonal summer service out of Hartford-Springfield's Bradley International Airport. In addition to its partnership with Northwest and other SkyTeam carriers, KLM's impressive network of over 100 online destinations in over 60 countries is expanded even further with codeshare agreements on carriers such as Alaska Airlines in the US and Kenya Airways in Africa.
